Lancaster Workshop, Environment Centre, Lancaster University, 2nd – 4th February 2015
Cooperation Framework Agreement of “Sino-UK Innovation alliance of Soil and Underground Water Remediation Technology” was launched in the workshop
The major feedbacks from last year’s workshop were:
1) to promote organisational initiatives in China, such as CL:AIRE and SuRF-UK;
2) to facilitate rapid improvements in contaminated land management policy, regulator and stakeholder consensus building practices;
3) to demonstrate how sustainable and efficient contaminated land framework works on the ground to support the process of urbanisation, including areas for soft re-use;
4) to promote sound policies, standards and regulations in China.
